Tony stood against the door frame thinking back on the previous night
Steve had stayed up all night trying to convince Tony to let him patch up his scars and bruises
Staying patient even when Tony refused to put his pride aside
Insisting that he could do it himself
But nevertheless Steve did so anyways
his steady hands carefully nursing Tony back to good health
and he couldn’t have been more thankful
And there he laid now looking as if he was having the most peaceful sleep
Tony felt almost guilty if he were to interrupt
He contemplated backing out and letting him sleep for longer
But as he turned to leave he heard Steve behind him stir from his sleep
His lids fluttered open revealing beautiful light blue orbs
Tony strode across the room and sat down across from the bed
not wanting Steve to catch him staring
Wakey wakey sleeping beauty. I made breakfast! He said
Lifting up the lid to reveal a plate of… well… it was food to say the least.
He saw a smile slowly appear on Steve’s face as he looked at his breakfast then up at him
No thanks I don’t want food poisoning
…Again
He recalled the last attempt he made to cook for Steve which had left him bedridden for days
But he made sure to take precautions this time
No it’s okay. JARVIS checked the best before dates this time. He ensured
